Description Of Housing

    B type housings are made of steel sheet, (width 1.5 mm) or aluminium sheet (width 2 mm), painted with powder paint, in RAL 7032 colour (or other colour, according to customer’s wishes).

    Due to their construction, B type housings have IP 54 protection class. They are designed mainly for manufacturing of sealed switchgears, inside of which mounting plate or mounting sheets may be installed.

    The housing of this type are equipped with one or several steel mounting sheets (BXM). They can be also equipped with "S" system – plastic protections (BXS).

Bxm Housing

Designation of the housing type consists of five digit blocks:

BXM	three letters	Construction – housing type, housing kind, equipment
I	block – two digits	Determination of dimensions of housing (manufacturing no.)
II	block – two digits	Determination of door performance
III	block – two digits	Determination of location of GM seal wire (metal) and housing ventilation
IV	block – two digits	Determination of BM mounting sheet performance
V	block – one digit	Determination of housing installation.

1 - full 2 – with plexiglass pane 3 – with window 4 - perforated	1 – lock for “feather” key 2 - HS lock with patent insert, closed in three points

III block – three digits: determination of location of GM seal wire (metal) and of housing ventilation.

XX seal wire location– first digit	XX kind of ventilation – second digit
0 – no seal wire 1 – on the top 2 – on the bottom 3 – on the top and on the bottom	0 – without ventilation 1 – with natural ventilation 2 – with forced ventilation and heating

IV block – two digits: determination of BM mounting sheet performance

1 – painted sheet, width 2.5 mm RAL-2000 colour 2 – steel sheet, width 2.0 mm, zinc-coated.	1 – screwed on back side 2 – screwed to an element allowing for continuous adjustment of depth

V block – one digit: determination of housing installation
